The following is the secret recipe handed down from my father for tender "fall-off-the-bone" Pork BBQ Ribs!!!!

bulletBBQ - The following are the steps for creating tender mouth watering ribs..  Here are some photo's of the Perkins Rib Smoker:

                                     

bulletThe Grill/Smoker: The key is to keep the temperature at 300 degrees and don't let the fire get too close to the ribs.  I have a grill that has a separate firebox so only the heat and smoke goes into the smoking chamber.
bulletThe Family Secret Recipe:  The home-made sauce comes all the way from Alabama.  The ingredients are: Catsup, Mustard, Vinegar, Syrup, Molasses, Salt, Pepper.  First fill a bowl up with catsup (this is the main ingredient) put a few table spoons of mustard, then add about 1/2 cup of vinegar and 3/4 cup of syrup.  Add one tablespoon of molasses and then salt and pepper to taste.  Add vinegar and syrup until you get the desired sweet 'n' sour taste.
bulletThe Secret to Tender Ribs:  (1) Wrap the ribs up in aluminum foil 2-3 times.  (2) Cook the ribs for 2 hours at 300 degree's.  (3) Take the ribs out of the foil place them in an oven drip pan on the grill and cook for 1.5 hours on the grill @ 300 degrees. (4) Now put the special sauce on the ribs every 30 minutes for another 2.5 hours @ 300 degrees.  (5) Enoy!!!
